I think what sums up George W. Bush roll as are president is on 9/11 terrorists attacks us on American soil. And the president came up with a strategy to protect us.
George W. Bush was one of the least popular presidents 2nd behind Lyndon B. Johnson.
One thing that he did that other presidents would probably not do and that he did was go to war with Iraq. This was a big issue because he retaliated so fast that the nation couldn’t really question the decision.
He also established the program no child left behind. This is when a child is not getting a good education teachers must put forth the effort to make sure that the child is attempting and trying to pass.
The U.S. became dependent on the Middle East for oil during George W. Bush’s time of presidency and he had said that by 2025 the United States would be having 75% of oil shipped from the Middle East.
President George W. Bush began well. He rejected the Kyoto Protocol on global warming negotiated by Vice President Al Gore as both injurious to the economy and rooted in questionable __science__. He refused to allow the armed forces and diplomats of the United States to be brought under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.
“Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward, and freedom will be defended.” **George W. Bush**
(Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our government's emergency response plans.)
